BUTTER SWIM BISCUITS

 



Butter Swim Biscuits are buttermilk-based biscuits that are baked in butter to obtain a biscuit that has a crunchy crust with a smooth and fluffy crust on the inside. If these biscuits sound amazing (and they are), be sure to also try the buttermilk biscuits!


*Ingredients


° 2½ cups (312.5 grams) all-purpose flour

° 4 teaspoons baking powder

° 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

° 2 teaspoons kosher salt

° 2 cups (490 g) buttermilk

° ½ cup (1 stick, 113 g) melted butter

Heat oven 450 degres f .

Adding flour, baking powder, sugar also salt in sized bowl. Use a whisk to sift the ingredients.

Pour in the curd and stir until completely combined, being careful not to over-wet the mixture.

Pour melt butter to an 8" * 8"* baking dish. Place the dough on top of the butter and use a spoon (or your hands) to evenly distribute the dough to the edges of the pan.

Cut the unbaked dough into 9 squares (3x3 pattern). Bake for 28 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the butter to absorb into the biscuits before slicing and serving.
