DEVILED EGGS


 


What do we particularly like about little bites this holiday season? May you eat with your hands and be crunchy! So we had a crazy idea


* Ingredients :


° 6 eggs

° vegetable oil for cooking

° Chop fresh chives for garnish

° paprika for garnish

for stuffing eggs

° Half a cup of mayonnaise

° 1 c. Fresh chopped chives

° 1 c. mustard

° 1 c. honey

° Salt and pepper to taste

for bread

° 1 egg

°All-purpose flour cup

° 1 cup panko breadcrumbs


* Steps :


Boil the eggs well (see tips and tricks), cool them under cold water, then peel them.

Cutting eggs in half also detach yolks from whites. Putting yolks in a bowl, then mix them with all the ingredients for the "egg filling". For reservations.

To prepare the breadcrumbs, beat the egg in a bowl, then set aside. Put the flour in a small bowl and the breadcrumbs in another bowl.

We bake each half of the cooked egg white as follows: dip only one side in the flour, then in the beaten egg, then in the breadcrumbs.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan to cover the bottom, then heat over high heat. When the oil boils on contact with the eggs, fry them in the oil for 1 to 2 minutes on one side only to brown them well. Let the eggs rest on paper towels before placing them on a serving plate.

Garnish the eggs with the filling, then garnish with chives and a sprinkle of paprika.
