Caramel Corn

This 5 stars caramel corn is sweet and crunchy, easy to make and tastes better than the county fair’s !! It’s almost difficult to control yourself when you put a bowl of this in front of you, it’s almost impossible to stop eating it (for me al least) LOL !!!

INGREDIENTS :

– Popcorn: 10 CUPS (popped)

– Brown sugar: 1 CUP

– Softened butter: 1/2 CUP

– White Kari-syrup: 1/4 CUP

– Vanilla flavor: 1 TSP

– Salt: 1/2 TSP

– Baking soda: 1/2 TSP

PREPARATION :

1. To begin with, I always pop the popcorn and put it in a large bowl; put apart.

2. Then you’re going to get a saucepan and mix in the brown sugar, Karo syrup, salt, and butter. Immediately heat over medium heat, until the butter has melted and the mixture is soft and bubbly.

3. And please remove the caramel from the heat. You’ll want to add the baking soda and vanilla extract, all of which would be bubbly and foamy.

4. Okay now, you can pour the mixture over the popping corn, swirling well until it is filled with all the kernels.

5. If you want to make some good and chewy caramel corn, leave at this poiut. You can also bake it up if you want to make it good and crispy.

6. Finally, bake on an oiled baking sheet at 225 degrees until it hits the perfect crunch stage, stirring after 15 minutes, it takes around 60 minutes for crunchy caramel corn.
