*How to make it


Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices...not too thin unless you like chips, and keep them in a bowl of cold water until you're all done slicing. Always rinse it several times.


Place the sliced ​​potatoes on an oven tray lined with paper towels to remove the water. Otherwise, it will splash with hot oil.


Use more paper towels to get the water off the surface, too.


Add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan, then pour in an extra drop or two to get a good measure. Heat the oil on a medium to high temperature. You want that hot oil!


Cut the onions into thin slices and throw them into the pan with the sediments. Be careful because the oil will be very hot! The onions and onions will be browned and crunchy on the outside.
